Here is a complete entry door set of the famous Doggie doorknob by Russell & Erwin, c.1870. There is a very fine doggie knob, nicely marked in the reverse and set in a fine double keyhole back plate. Next there is a nice R&E/MCCC interior knob, set in the proper triangular back plate. Then there are two bronze 5″x 5″ hinges, marked and dated as well. And finally there is an original R&E entry lock, with strike plate–and even the key. A set like this would take some real effort to assemble. Everything is authentic and in excellent condition and with a fine old patina.
