We drove down to Stamford today with some new merch for our space, and also to meet the movers who were taking out a china pedestal sink and a large earthenware kitchen sink for a project in New York.
It was a busy day at the Antique & Artisans Gallery, with many designers and decorators seriously shopping the outstanding inventory that is always present there. While we were re-arranging, a nice couple came by who are working on a house up in Maine and we had just the right sink for them: a small German silver double bowl with the “ying-yang” divider.
So three great items left but we added a J.L. Mott earthenware bath sink on legs, a beaded bath mirror, a standing restaurant ware wine cooler, a rare cage type TP holder plus a porcelain pooch you will see sitting the bathtub. Also, note the industrial-man standing at the earthenware pedestal sink to the right. He was a “booth enhancement” from one of our dealer friends at the Gallery. He looks right at home.
